Food Combining Diets

A number of diets are based on food combining. The theory is generally that carbs and proteins shouldn't be taken in the same meal. Some examples of this are the Suzanne Somers diets, the Wright diet and Slimmers' World diet plans. There is still dispute as to whether the food combining during digestion actually makes a difference, or that the discipline of eating in this way actually cuts down calories and makes the dieter more conscious of what is being consumed.
