How Eating Affects Our Body
Introduction
In this section we look at how our body produces and consumes energy. How the body builds fat from unneeded food. Why we need to exercise whilst dieting in order to prevent the loss of muscle tissue. Muscles use energy, if we lose muscle tissue then our body uses less energy and stores more fat...it's a vicious circle !.
We'll also learn a little about our body's metabolism. How it uses food to store energy and how it uses energy in several different ways. Finally we have a section that details just how much energy is expended on a varietry of activites.
